I have found out why a number of you are having trouble with PM's.
This was a bit of a surprise to me when we found this out. The SMF 1.1.4 software we were using did not delete the old sent and received PM's. There were still there, they just didn't show up in your in or outbox anymore.
When we moved all those PM's came to the new forum. The PM count you see might reflect what it was before we moved but your sent box might have every PM you ever sent in it.
If you are having trouble with PM's take a look at your outbox and see if it is over loaded.
