    I want to start carrying a usb flash drive for for the main reason of having a portable version of keepass. I'm considering getting the Silicon Power Jewel J50 drive and a tiny otg adapter. I'm thinking the best way to carry them would be in a titanium capsule.

    Any recommendations for a good quality titanium capsule?
    Or some other storage idea...

    Thanks for the suggestion.

    Does anyone make custom titanium capsules on this forum?

    I carry a Super Talent Pico-C 64G. I have used the ST Picos for years, they are waterproof, dust proof and feels crush proof. I have never had one break on me and I am pretty rough with them. They are also pretty cheap, I give them out as office gifts often, people love them. Granted it isn't titanium like the Silicon Power Jewel you listed but they are the same concept and have been around for many years and comes with a lifetime warranty.

    I use a Kingston DT Micro 3.1, steel cased, tiny, would be great on keys, but I carry mine on a neck lanyard.

    I carry a Corsair Flash Voyager Vega, which is a 64GB USB 3.0 flash drive. It hangs on my keyring via a Nite-Ize S-biner Microlock. I've washed more flash drives than I care to admit, which is why I keep this one on my keys. I will say I've never had one fail that has been "washed." I just give them time to dry out.

    I just keep mine in my pocket alongside the Fisher Space Pen leather pen case (still kicking myself for not getting spares when hisnibs.com or one of the other inexpensive pen vendors was remaindering them out --- also not sure why it's not in my avatar photo....) --- it's a bit worrisome given the small size these days, but it seems to be okay.

    i carry my 'good' one in my electronics kit in my bag and my cheap beater one just loose in my pocket. It's not failed me yet and I don't carry keys so it seems to be the easiest way

    I've got a larger HDD that I use for work that just lives in my bag. Then a much smaller key-chain size w/encryption I carry on me in case I need a few GBs.

    If you're after durability, the corsair survivor is a beast. It can get pricey with higher capacity but the 128gb is the best bang for buck. I've kept it on my keychain for the past year and a bit, it's bulky but I don't need to worry about it. The only damage it's been involved in was when it bent my p-51 that was on the same keychain!

    My main flash drive is inside my MacBook Air … all 512gb!

    Secondary drives:
    - a Transcend drive on my (Smartkey) key-rind for personal emergency data
    - a copy of current client files on a Sandisk Ultra Fit that travels between personal and client laptop
    - a falling apart Freecom drive, usually blank, for sharing files on the fly

    I still love my 'usb' solution;

    (shameless repost from here)

    At the thickness of a few credit-cards and one tiny little fob i can carry 8 'USB sticks'. Works fine on anything with a usb port (even booting from these is no issue) and ofc you can also put the card separately in a phone or tablet to access your data.
