My mother had a lovely dress Rolex - not sporty that I wish I had.

Here you go. Sorry for the delay, haven't checked the thread in a few days. My right wrist is 7.5 or so inches around.

I think I have settled on getting a Seiko Solar Orange Diver. Only about $150.
But 9f course I'll have to find it local or hope someone on WUS is selling one....

Supposedly, the DW5600 is also a NASA approved watch. Not as cool as the spec'd-for-outside-the-suit-on-moonwalks Speedmaster, but still cool for a G-shock budget.

I really really want a panerai with locking crown but unfortunately I'll probably never have 4 to 8k to drop on a watch so ill have to find a homage instead maybe this one[IMG]

I've decided that of all the watches available in find myself drawn to the Seiko SNE109 Orange Solar diver.
It is eminently readable. It has day date. It doesn't need batteries nor constant fiddling.
But I can't buy it for the foreseeable future. And even then I can't buy online.

There is a Casio Silver/Grey watch it took a shining to but the Seiko is the one!

As a reference for you when you do get ready, it was on sale over Black Friday/Cyber Monday for $99 Can't remember where but I will look and see if I can find it. I almost bought it myself.

There are some serious issues with that.
I'm still not setting the world on fire pay wise.
I couldn't have jumped on that $99 deal anyhow.
    I can't order online.

So I'll go on wanting it.

I have always lusted after a Bell & Ross BR1. The only thing that stands in the way of me having one is gobs of money.
