I am waiting on my mecarmy pt16 to arrive. :)

Wondering if anyone could give me some input on the Manker U11 or U21. I have been watching some youtube videos but i would like to hear from some fellow edc members. Thanks in advance

Hi Jp, I have had my Manker U11 for about 4 months now and really like it, especially the price point and overall value. It does have a good feel to it and it is constructed well but the color temp is a little too "warm" for my taste. The large gap between moonlight mode and the lowest regular setting is a little strange and the power button is difficult to find by feel alone as it and the rubber boot over the charging port feel almost exactly alike and with gloved hands, you have no choice but to use your eyes to tell the difference. Hope this helps you out

Works fine. Also just arrived is a micro USB light. See pic below of front and back. It measures 7mm wide (same as grip on Signo 207 pen), 24mm long and 3mm thick. It is powerful for the size and much brighter than the plastic sleeved mini USB light which now looks huge.

Thank you for your response. I was a little worried that the temperature output would be a little "warm" since it is part of the youtube review i watched. I guess the only true way to test it is to irder it and see for myself. I truly appreciate the input! Thank you again

Waiting on a Fenix MC 11. A 90 degree AA with a swivel head. Been looking at it for well over a year and finally pulled the trigger. It will be my 4th Fenix. The tracking number indicates Monday for delivery, hoping it's tomorrow instead. Waiting is agony.

I also have a Foursevens Preon P1 incoming now, because of my way too late @ night internet window shopping.

I've wanted to up my flashlight game for a while now. Up until this point I've bought my lights from Walmart or on impulse @ gun stores...

The first light I wanted to upgrade to was a good quality high lumen light for when I'm out hiking. Second being a simple low lumen edc light.

I believe the Nitecore will be excellent for hiking. And this Foursevens looks to be excellent for edc. I always love a good AAA light....There's something I like about that battery type.

Now I'm off to bed before I buy another light or something haha

Fenix MC 11 arrived today!:frantic:Havn't had a chance to really put it to the test but my initial perception is very good. Feels well balanced in my hand and with the swivel head all the way up the click switch on top is perfectly located. Has a lanyard attachment that is cast into the head and a bail for hanging if needed. Max 155 lumens is plenty for EDC. Three Light levels and holding the switch depressed activates the turbo from any setting. The belt clip appears to be very stout. I like the AA battery due to its availability. I have 2 rechargeable Fenix lights and wanted one with AA batteries should there not be any power available for recharging. Only thing that comes to mind that would make it better is to have a magnetic base. As it is the base is flat and can be stood on its base for hands free work. This is my 4th Fenix and may very well become my go to EDC torch.

I picked up an olight S1R after reading a lot of great things from different members and wanted to try it out. Still waiting on it..

I am close to pulling the trigger on a S30R as a nightstand light but im still a bit unsure and in the midst of more research :(
