So what tech do you EDC?

Show and tell time girls and boys!

Tell us what items you have and what you use them for.

    On person:
Lacie USB key (I really need to upgrade this. 16GB only, but I haven't used it in a while as cloud storage has taken over. I now keep emergency apps in it, such as windows recovery, etc.)
Iphone 6S Plus (used to access EDC forums on the go! and my personal phone)
Blackberry Z10 (work phone and iphone wanna be. I hate this thing)

    In Bag:
    Work Laptop (Dell Latitude E7440)
USB number pad (I hate the "fake" fn number pads on laptops)
Logitech MX Anywhere 2 Mouse (This thing is seriously awesome. Wireless, lasts months with daily use, USB rechargeable, one touch to change wheel resistance, and compact, yet comfortable)
2x Scosche SmartStrike (By far my favourite lightning/micro usb 2-1 cable)
Anker Astro E7 26800 mAh battery pack (Used to for my phones, etc)
Apple ipad wallcharger (Mostly used to charge the battery pack)
    Ipad Air (For my breaks)
Geometrical Pocket Tripod for the iPhone. (This thing is awesome. It's a credit card sized cell phone stand. I use this when I setup my mobile working area.

    In Car:
Anker USB Car Charging Hub (5 ports, connected into the lighter jack inside my center armrest console. Provides power to everyone in the car!)
Scosche Magnetic Cell Phone Mount (Sticks to the car vent, awesome for easy mounting)
MPOW Bluetooth receiver (plugs into the 3.5mm jack of my car. Allows me to stream music from my phone to my car, wirelessly)

    On person:

    - Corsair Flash Voyager GO 64GB USB 3.0 OTG Flash Drive --- I've been carrying a USB thumb drive since having a Kingston 128MB (which I still have in my laptop bag, and when people get in ego-measuring contests over largest flash drive will haul out to deflect such idiocy)
    - Skilcraft B3 Aviator multi-function pen --- not sure if this qualifies as tech or no....
    - Levenger Palm Notes Case --- very annoyed that they quit carrying the note cards which fit in it, the current business card-sized ones are a bit too small --- need to find something which I can cut down in sufficient quantity to make it worthwhile

Laptop bag (only listing unusual things which may be of interest, or for which I'd like feedback on for suggestions / improvements / alternatives):

    - Contour Design Shuttle Xpress --- use this for modifier keys in various drawing programs when drawing on my tablet in tablet mode --- have an Azio Levetron Mech5 on order so that I can use the D-pad from it when the jog wheel is not convenient
    - small backup battery pack --- want to upgrade this to one like to the ones I bought my kids for Christmas last year --- those also function as flashlights
    - USB cables and adapters in a Rotring pen tin --- need to figure out where the USB male-female extension cable got to
    - Levenger Safety Case (you can see it in the bottom left of my avatar) --- this was modeled on the toolcases carried by knitting machine mechanics and I've pretty much gotten it filled w/ a Niwa camera toolkit, a Byrd Harp tool, two sets of Bondhus Goldguard hex wrenches (metric and Imperial --- need to upgrade the metric set to ball-end though, but they've been discontinued), Fix it Sticks, a Mininch clone (need to replace that w/ the real thing), and an assortment of small bits --- trying to figure out if there would be room for a Wrenchit, and I need to fill out the bits w/ everything from Moody which I'm missing
    - Altoids tin filled w/ 1/4" bits of various sorts including a full set of slotted Felo bits, JIS bits, &c. in 3D printed organizers --- need to add a second for better organization, and to fill out the sizes / types and need to look into machining the organizers rather than 3D printing them
    - multi-function card reader and an assortment of cards in a DiMeCard organizer

Most of my EDC Tech is so I can get Audio & Video in & out of systems and also the computers that I need to program and troubleshoot the same systems and remote control system.

So I usually will have with me:

    -Small full HD monitor
-Small Bluetooth speaker with auio input
-iPod and adapters to push AV in and out
-Adapters to do the same with my iPhone and Ipad
    -Ipad Mini
-Macbook running both Mac OS and Windows and adapters to do the same as well as interface with control systems in Mac,Windows and proprietary formats.
-Several USB Flash drives with backups and diagnostic crap on them,I like the Samsung rugged SS models but also have the Kingstons.
-Maxpedition Cocoons with Audio,Video and computer connectors and adapters for everything imaginable.
    -Whirlwind QBox Mic/Line test box

Most of this is usually in a R24 or Moab10 if I am in town and in a Pelican 1510 if on the road.
My Sprinter is just a big rolling Toolbox too.

This is the usual load off the top of my head?

Well, I'm not really a techie, but I like having some tech.

Of course in my pocket, I have a smartphone, Motorola something. I've had it two years, and it's the best phone I've ever had. I'm no longer sure what the model is, but it's Kevlar backed.

In my bag I keep a Samsung tablet. I can't really say what kind because I don't know or care. It's gold. I've had it about a year and a half, and it's paired with a Logitech keyboard, a 64GB Samsung expansion card and adapter, and a Samsung accessory cable allowing USB plugs to be attached. I keep the original charging cable for the tablet in my bag as well.

I also keep a Anker Astro 3e 10,000 mAh battery, a coiled cable for this with sundry plugs to fit misc. ports. In a Maxped organizer pouch with this (and many other things), I also keep a Motorola charging cable for my phone (1 of probably 7 I own).

Finally, I keep two flash drives one is a Transcend which I thought looked neat, and a Kingston Traveler Locker 32GB. It's the most recent purchase so I recall most of the details.

    I also have some earphones.

Personal 11" Macbook Air (or my work 15" MacBook Pro)
    iPad 2 w/ keyboard case
    iPhone 6+
    2 Sony 16gb USB sticks
    Bluebird X2 Bluetooth Headphones
    RAVPower 16000mah Power bank
Short USB cables for charging any of the USB devices

The laptops and iPad get carried only when/if I need them. The rest I have on me or in my Direct Action bag pretty much all the time.

The only electronic things I edc is my phone (Galaxy edge) and vaporizer.

[IMG] do keep a 16000 ma battery in my car to charge random things, like my phone or vape, sometimes passengers will charge off it.

I really don't edc much in the way of tech. Generally a low-tech flip phone, a first generation Kindle Paperwhite, and a second (!) generation iPod Touch. Sometimes my iPad Mini 2; sometimes my MacBook Pro 13". Almost never both of these together!

    L'chaim!

I'm cheap and old school when it comes to tech, so I don't have anything at all, compared to everyone else in this thread. I use a Tracphone, an LG 440 flip phone. Cheap, durable, and reliable.

I have a 32gb flashdrive on my keys for backing up files on my home computer and at work and for allowing working on work files at home. I sometimes carry an old mp3 player and cheap earbuds to chill out during my lunch break.

If you call it tech, I do carry a laser pointer pen in my work bag. Great tool for working with kids on computers. Allows me to keep my distance while pointing things out on the screen. Also good for getting people's attention across a room without shouting.

And yeah, if you call flashlights tech, I usually have my Fenix E05 and Olight i3s with me.
